Our History
In the 1950s, Bartolomeo and Milena Coppola founded a small confectionery workshop in Milan with a desire to innovate in the industry. As they traveled around Italy, they understood the needs of pastry and ice cream shops for artisanal yet practical products. Bartolomeo launches semi-finished products that maintain the ancient tradition, bringing Dulcistar to be known throughout Italy, a first major milestone.
With the move to new headquarters in Piazzale Lugano, the Coppola family keeps alive their passion for Italian pastry and quality craftsmanship. The new generation, led by Antonella Coppola and Giacomo Beretta, expands the company beyond national borders, with partnerships in more than thirty countries and customized projects for different realities. The history of Dulcistar products continues to be successfully written today.
